When you enquire

Submitting the form saves your name, email address, optional business name, website type and message in our private enquiry inbox. Only the authorised owner can view that inbox. A successful confirmation means your enquiry has been saved; email notifications are not currently enabled. We use your information to reply and discuss your project. We don’t add you to a marketing list.

If you arrived through a referral or campaign link, we save its code and the landing-page path with your enquiry. There are no tracking pixels or advertising analytics. To limit automated abuse, we temporarily store a salted hash of your connection address, or your email address when the hosting platform does not supply a connection address. This throttle record is separate from the enquiry; raw IP addresses are not saved in our enquiry database.

Your browser and hosting

Your light or dark theme preference is saved locally on your device. Fonts, logos, images and the optional background video are served with this site. The hosting platform may process technical connection logs to deliver and protect the website. You do not need an account to view the site or submit an enquiry.

We use no advertising cookies or analytics trackers. You can remove the saved theme preference through your browser’s site-data settings.

Why we use information

We use enquiry information to take steps towards a contract when you request our service, and to perform an agreed project. When you contact us on behalf of a business, our legitimate interest is answering business correspondence and managing that relationship. Keeping required invoices and records is based on our legal obligations. We do not use automated decisions or profiling to decide whether to work with you.

Who may receive it

Our email and hosting providers process information needed to deliver their services. Relevant correspondence or records may also be shared with an accountant, professional adviser or public authority where necessary to fulfil an obligation or establish or defend a legal claim. We do not sell your enquiry details. Our email and hosting providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where an international transfer requires protection, applicable adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards are used; contact us for information about the arrangement relevant to your data.

How long we keep it

We retain correspondence while discussing your enquiry, delivering an agreed project and dealing with follow-up questions or a dispute. We review it and remove information that is no longer needed. Contract and accounting records may need to be kept for the period required by applicable law. The retention period depends on the purpose, any ongoing relationship and legal record-keeping requirements; a theme preference stays on your device until you change or clear it.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, and may have rights to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive portable data where the legal conditions apply. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email contact@sky8.eu to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe. Some information must be retained to meet a legal obligation.

You can raise a concern with Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate or another supervisory authority competent to consider your complaint. Sharing enquiry details is optional; without enough contact or project information, we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal.
