Clear expectations make a better project. These terms explain our website service for customers acting for their business, trade or profession. Your written project agreement sets out the specific work we will deliver.

Who you contract with

Sky8 is operated by SIA “SKY Unlimited”, registered in Latvia on 8 September 2016, registration number 40203018242, VAT number LV40203018242. Our registered office is Mālkalnes prospekts 26 - 8, Ogre, Ogres nov., LV-5001, Latvia. Contact contact@sky8.eu. Company information is available in the company record.

Agreeing your project

An enquiry is a conversation, not an order or a commitment to pay. Before work begins, we agree your business brief, page list, features, deliverables and schedule in writing. The project starts once both sides have accepted that agreement and any agreed initial payment has been received. An expressly agreed project-specific term takes priority over these general terms where they differ.

The £200 offer and fair use

The £200 one-off build price covers a business website with up to five standard content pages, whether you choose a single page or several. A standard content page is an informational page such as Home, About, Services or Contact. We agree the page list before starting; the offer does not cover unlimited pages, repeated product listings or ongoing additions.

Included are website copy developed from your business information, responsive design and development, a working contact form, essential technical SEO and clear, structured content, one round of refinements within the agreed project scope, and handover of the finished website files. We agree a suitable form handler and explain any ongoing provider costs before you accept. Essential SEO and structured content help search engines and AI-powered tools understand the site; they do not guarantee indexing, rankings or AI mentions.

Additional standard content pages start from £50 per page and are quoted before any extra work begins. Product catalogues, online checkout, customer accounts, booking systems, databases and custom integrations require a separate written scope and quote. We set up the agreed domain and hosting in accounts you own. Domain registration and hosting provider fees, paid fonts or imagery, third-party subscriptions, new branding, original photography and future updates are not included unless your written agreement expressly includes them. We do not incur additional paid costs on your behalf without agreement.

Prices are quoted in GBP. Scope, payment schedule and tax confirmed in writing. Your quote will state any applicable tax and the total payable before you accept. A foreign-currency payment may involve charges or conversion by your bank or payment provider; the payment method is agreed before invoicing.

Content and your business brief

You do not need to write finished website copy. Provide an accurate description of your business, services or products, audience, contact details and any relevant requirements. We ask follow-up questions and draft the website text from that information. You review and approve the wording, business claims and factual accuracy before publication.

You must have permission to use any logos, photographs, text or other materials you supply. Tell us about any sector-specific legal, accessibility, regulatory or content requirements when we agree the brief. We will confirm whether those requirements are within scope. Please do not send customer records, passwords or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

Timing

Your website is typically ready within five working days after we receive your completed brief. We confirm the project and launch schedule in writing before work begins, taking account of feedback, approvals and any third-party setup. This is a typical turnaround, not an unconditional launch guarantee. You do not need to provide finished website copy. If a delay or missing information affects the schedule, we explain the situation and agree updated dates with you.

Design and feedback

One round of refinements is included. We agree the review and approval process with you in the written project scope. We review the overall style, layout and direction first, then refine the chosen design and copy. Please gather your feedback into clear responses so we can address it coherently. Corrections needed to meet the agreed requirements are addressed before sign-off.

A new direction after approval, added pages or new functionality is a change of scope. We explain any effect on cost and timing and obtain your written agreement before doing that additional work. Publication follows your approval; silence is not treated as approval.

Ownership and handover

Once the agreed payment is complete, we transfer to you our rights in the original website design, code and copy created specifically for your project, to the extent those rights belong to us, and provide the agreed finished files. You retain ownership of the materials you supplied.

Existing tools, reusable code, open-source components, fonts, stock images and third-party services retain their own ownership and licence terms. We identify applicable licences and any continuing costs at handover and provide the permissions needed to use our retained components as part of your delivered website. The transfer does not give either party ownership of third-party materials.

Launch and support

We test the agreed pages for modern phone, tablet and desktop browsers and set up the agreed domain and hosting in your name. Provider fees, maintenance and ongoing support are separate unless included in your written agreement. If you notice an error in the delivered work, let us know so we can assess it against the agreed scope and arrange any correction owed. We do not guarantee search rankings, visitor numbers, sales or uninterrupted third-party services.

Changes, pauses and cancellation

Either party should raise a problem promptly so we can try to resolve it. If you need to pause or cancel, email us. We will confirm the work completed, any unavoidable third-party costs that you approved and the next steps. Any charge for work completed must follow the agreed payment schedule and be proportionate to the work delivered. Payments for work not performed, after any properly agreed charges, are returned. We do not impose an automatic blanket “non-refundable” fee.

If we cannot complete the agreed work, we will explain the situation, provide any paid-for deliverables that can reasonably be handed over and refund the amount paid for work not performed. These terms do not remove any remedy available under applicable law.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Resolving concerns

Email contact@sky8.eu with a description of the issue so we can try to resolve it directly. Our business service agreements are governed by Latvian law unless the project agreement expressly states otherwise, subject to any mandatory law that applies. Any court proceedings must be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Updates to these terms

The date above identifies this version. Changes published here apply to future agreements; they do not change an existing project agreement without both parties’ agreement.
